Lil’ Miss Esmé decided to pick up a cold during her first days of school; I hope this is not a precursor for the germ-laden days ahead.
Anyway, her sniffles meant we spent a *quiet* day at home, initiating the brand-new Hooked on Bible Stories set I had picked up at a thrift store (yes, Sunrise), watching Veggie Tales’ Sweet Pea Beauty, listening to Pilgrim’s Progress (expect some bizarre conversations to be initiated from that), and pulling Santa hats out of the dress-up bin.
